Security Analysis
SuperVisor security analysis commands perform a comprehensive
analysis OS/400's Security system. It analyzes and maintains object authority,
authorization lists, user profiles and job descriptions. Analysis or
maintenance projects can be scoped to include just those objects of
concern, by working with a list of objects, including only certain
object types, or libraries.
Example Security Analysis Projects

Audit object authority and identify objects that do
not match the security policy.

Implement a security policy by changing ownership,
grant or revoke access for any group of objects at one time.

Manage authorization lists by auditing differences
between authorization lists, then providing the ability merge
differences or delete authorization lists that are no longer needed.

Audit object resource authority automatically with the
ability to verify a user has or lacks the specified resource
authorities to specified objects

Identify user profiles that differ on different
computers or LPAR's

Identify programs which adopt authority.
